“But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.”

What an amazing start for the day to know that Christ has come and He is our High Priest forever.

The high priest of the old covenant is the one who determines what is false and what is the truth to the people.

Being a fallen man, the high priest has the influence of bad and good. He himself lives in a sin-conscious mind.

But our High Priest is Jesus in whom there is no sin, no death but life and goodness that is of God.

The promises of the Old Testament were great.

It was able to buy time not to be punished for our sins but far greater is the covenant we have in Christ Jesus.

For we are justified by faith in Christ Jesus our Lord. We are always presented before our heavenly Father as holy and blameless in Christ.

The old tabernacle was made by man using earthly things.

But the new tabernacle was made by God with heavenly things and that tabernacle is us.

We are the new tabernacle that is born of God into this world. We carry His presence, His power, and His love.

Therefore, it is absolutely important that we don’t go back to the earthly way, with our old nature and with our natural abilities.

It is absolutely important that we start living the new life in Christ as our High Priest, as His temple with His glory and power.
