“The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high.”

The fear of man means to be afraid of people which causes us to do something to please them. It is doing things out of fear of losing the job or something we want to hold on to.

Sad to say that many believers are trapped in this place and it causes them to stumble every time God wants to bring them to the next season in their lives.

They abort everything that God placed before them.

Therefore, living life to please others only sets us up to be in bondage. This will lead us to lie, hide, and live in darkness.

To be in fear of people's opinions, and what would people think or say about us will set trap after trap and will enslave us to live in that manner for the rest of our lives.

Eventually, it will steal away the consciousness that we are living in a trap of our own fear.

This will steal away the very freedom each soul is longing to have.

But if we lean on God, trust His word, trust His power, and trust His love towards us, we can live in confidence and assurance achieving our dreams and visions.

Living life trusting God casts off every fear of people and we would not be bound by them because God is our shield.

We can live to our full potential as we trust and rely on the Author of our lives.

Trusting in God will cause us to be lifted to a high place so that we can see the bigger picture that God has laid for His children.
