Titus 2:11 AMP
“For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.” Titus 2:11 AMP
Grace is an unmerited favour/ mercy of God towards mankind. Grace is a complete resource we need to overcome every situation, challenges for every circumstance. Grace has been revealed to all men, Jesus Christ is the grace that appeared to all mankind. We, on the other hand, would like to earn with our own abilities because of the fallen nature. That fallen nature always wants to work out something to prove we did it and it’s our efforts. The kingdom of God and the gifts of God cannot be earned by any man, it is purely a gift from God. We can only receive it. To receive is a posture of humility, saying to God I can never earn it, therefore, I will humbly receive it from You, Lord. The grace of God that we have received has its own purpose and mission - that is to manifest the kingdom of God in and through our lives. Grace is not a licensee to sin, grace is the power of God that puts sin and its influence away from our lives. Grace liberates us to live in the glory of God and reflects the goodness of God to the world. The purpose of grace is not to cover our mistakes but to empower us to live a victorious life in Christ Jesus. This is a remarkable gift that God has given to each one of us. It is free yet very costly, paid by the Son of the living God. This gift is available to all individuals, to all people group and no matter what religious background we may have, this gift is for us. The way to receive the grace of God into our lives is by accepting Jesus Christ and make Him the Lord of our lives. This is a decision that we have to make and confess it with our mouth that Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. Let us continue to live in the grace of God which is a victory packed to live in this world.
