II Corinthians 4:5 NKJV
“For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.”
II Corinthians 4:5 NKJV
Paul highlighted in these verses that blindness comes when people do not hear the message of Christ.
Paul says we do not preach ourselves, for many preach about achievements, and traditions and many preach observations but only Christ Jesus granted us as a new creation.
It is not about our testimonies that change lives, but the testimony of Christ and what He has laid down for us.
Paul also highlighted that all he does and teaches is focused on Christ Jesus.
To believe in Christ means to accept the things Jesus has done.
To believe in Jesus means to acknowledge that we are no longer of the earth but citizens of God’s kingdom.
A believer in Christ does not live their own lives but lives the life of Christ and God will satisfy all the desires of their hearts.
When we focus on Christ and live for Him, we will find that we need not pursue yet it will come after us and bless us.
When Christ becomes the focus, the center and the source of our lives, we will find all things will be added unto us.
Above all, we will be able to see through the eyes of God, His plans and His purposes for our lives.
The power of darkness will be lifted from their eyes when the true message of Jesus is preached.
The power to see clearly is in understanding what Christ Jesus has done for us.
Let us therefore keep looking unto Jesus, preach Him and experience the power of His resurrection.
Blessings
