Proverbs 8:8 NKJV
“All the words of my mouth are with righteousness; Nothing crooked or perverse is in them.”
Proverbs 8:8 NKJV
Solomon who is crowned with wisdom spoke of the truth that leads to prosperity in every aspect of our lives.
Solomon says that all the words of his mouth are with righteousness.
What Solomon was trying to do was to bring all of his words in alignment with the righteousness of God.
He does not want to speak that which is contrary to God’s right standing.
He will not speak things that contradict God’s nature, God’s ways and God’s directions.
If our words are according to God’s righteousness, we will reap the harvest that His word produces.
In Christ, we have received all things pertaining to life and godliness.
In Christ, we have become partakers of His divine nature and have God the Holy Spirit within us.
Therefore, we cannot afford to speak things that are against what Christ has done for us.
We cannot let contradicting words come out of our mouths that are against what Christ has done for us.
The fullness of God cannot be manifested when we are not in right standing with God.
Many prayers were not answered and many things have not come to pass, perhaps due to we have been asking in the wrong standing.
Everything that is not according to God’s righteousness is crooked and perverse, says Solomon.
It is not just saying bad stuff or profanity but anything that is not in right standing with God is crooked and perverse.
We need to learn to say what God says and believe what God has done and given.
Let our mouths be filled with the righteousness of God all the days of our lives.
