On the day of Pentecost, the first church was founded and the evidence of the first church was speaking in tongues.
Many mocked but so many more gave their life to God as they heard the marvellous works of God.
Three thousand were added to the first church in one day and they grew strong in the Lord.
God’s church needs to move in God’s power and speak the heavenly language.
We are to build our spirit man even though our carnal mind does not understand.
Today satan has convinced the people to reject the Holy Spirit by not wanting His gifts and to speak in a heavenly language.
The enemy knows the power of God and how speaking in tongues can build the believer's spirit man to be sharp and alert to the things of God.
The enemy knows if he can stop people from praying in tongues, he can cut off our spiritual exercise and weaken our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
Just like Paul said that he prayed in tongues more then the people he taught.
This is the promise foretold in the Old Testament which Jesus said to wait for the fullness of time. Jesus completed the work and sent the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.
Today we don’t need to wait any longer. We all have become the temple of the Holy Spirit.
All we need to do is to let the Holy Spirit lead us into all truth and speak His language to build our spirit man.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit means to be immersed in Him and we start to follow His leading.
Let us not neglect what Christ has promised His church. For we cannot do the works of God if we are not led by the Holy Spirit of God.
