Acts 12:8 NKJV
“Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.””
Acts 12:8 NKJV
The angel woke Peter up while he was still chained between two soldiers.
The angel said to him, gird yourself and tie your sandals.
After that, while Peter was tied down with chains to the two soldiers, the angel asked Peter to put on his garment and follow the angel.
Peter followed the angel out as if there were no prisoners and no chains.
When God’s word was given to Peter, everything that was in the natural had no power over the word of God.
The chains had no power to chain Peter and the two soldiers were of no harm to him at all.
Are we in the prison, in a storm, in a drought, in famine, discarded, rejected and blamed?
All we need is to take hold of the word of God and start following God’s direction.
Peter did not question, did not give his scenario of his situation but just followed the direction from the angel.
We have the word of Jesus, His promises and His Spirit living in us just as Peter did.
So we too, can walk in that divine dimension and know that those things that surround us have no power to stop what God has ordained.
Most of the excuses, if not all of them, are because we look at our circumstances instead of God and His promises.
For in Christ all of His promises are yes, and in Him, Amen.
We have the assurance that His word will never fail, never pass away and WILL COME TO PASS if we believe till the end.
Let us put our confidence in God no matter what comes our way.
Blessings
