Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

I Corinthians 1:13 NKJV

The word of God teaches us to look unto Jesus and ultimately to follow Him for there is only one who died and took our place and that is Jesus.

We praise God for the men and women who have blessed us in many different ways. We honour them but we all must follow Jesus.

Division starts when we start to look at a person other than Jesus.

Division begin when we look at denomination and the doctrine or a belief system above Christ.

Every institution should work to point people to Jesus and what He has done.

Anything that we believe, apart from what Christ has offered to us, will have the potential to bring division.

Paul is questioning here if Christ divided? It is a powerful statement that puts a stop to any conversation or motivation that brings division.

This does not mean we say yes to everything because that itself is a division.

We say yes and amen to Christ and walk in all that He has done for us.

If everyone brings themselves to seek the Lord Jesus and walk in what He has prepared, we will find ourselves united without having a unity agenda.

When we all seek Jesus, we will automatically start to live in unity, in love and in peace.

Therefore, no matter what background we all come from, no matter what denomination or church we are part of, we must be united in Christ as His body.

Let us all keep looking unto Jesus who is the Author and Finisher of our faith.
