‭‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!””

‭‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus fulfilled every aspect of the scripture, even to the last drink.

To pray for God to do something again would be an insult to His finished work.

Tradition has taught us to ask God for this and that, but according to Christ's finished work, we have received all things pertaining to life and godliness.

We have received all authority and power, He has made all grace sufficient for us.

He has given us His kingdom and His power and His Spirit who is living in us.

He made us righteous by cleansing us with His own precious blood and raising us up to sit together with Him in the heavenly places so that we may rule and reign with Him in this world.

Christ has supplied everything that we will ever need and has empowered us with every power to fulfil our God-given purpose.

Let our prayers reflect His finished work, and may our hearts always be filled with thanksgiving for all that He has done.

That is why we are called to live a grateful life and worship Jesus as our only Lord and Saviour.

We need to live a life that reflects the finished work of Christ so that we can paint the right image of Christ to the world.

Let us rise up and take our place in Christ and display His glory on this earth.

Blessings
