Acts‬ ‭6‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭6‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In the ministry, there will always be needs that need to be met, but it is not the pastor's job, nor is it those who are in leadership to take on the job unless it is guided by the Lord.

So often, the needs become a call, and people get confused between meeting the needs and fulfilling their calling over their lives.

Ministers of the word are always meeting spiritual needs.

But it is not their primary focus to meet their physical needs and they need to raise others who have the passion to minister to the needs of the body.

If the pastors are doing all the work of meeting the needs, it means those who have the passion and desire to do it will be left out.

What did the early apostles do? They did not discard the needs of the people. Instead, they raised people to take care of those needs.

Those who are in the church need to express their desire to their local pastors so that the pastors can help to assist them to fulfill their God-given purpose.

Be stirred up in the Spirit of God and be alert to His voice. For If everyone does their part, there will be a healthy body of Christ.

Let us give our best unto the Lord and serve the Lord as one big family of God.

Everyone has a special place in His kingdom. It is important that we start somewhere and the doors will be opened to the place where God has designed for us.

Blessing
