Zechariah 2:8 AMP
“For thus says the Lord of hosts, “After glory He has sent Me against the nations which plunder you—for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.”
Zechariah 2:8 AMP
This are the promises made for both in the new and old covenant.
In the new covenant, Jesus is that manifested glory and His church whom He has sanctified.
We are so precious to the Lord. We are described as the apple of His eye.
The pupil is very sensitive and any little discomfort can cause distress to the whole person.
This is an illustration of how focused God is on His beloved children.
We don’t have to worry about who is our enemy because he is defeated by Christ on the cross and He has disarmed ALL principalities and powers of the enemy.
What we NEED to do is USE all that God has put into us and walk as a new creation in Christ.
The enemy only thrives when we don’t walk in Christ Jesus. Praying is wonderful and is needed but if we don’t live life as a new creation, we will still fall into the traps of the enemy.
We have the full protection from God and we can live life boldly without fear for in Christ we have total protection.
We are no longer alone, we are no longer isolated as a spirit being, we are surrounded 24/7 by the glorious cloud of witnesses.
We can talk to God and get caught up in glory everyday. We are also surrounded by the family of God here on earth.
Let us continue to build our confidence in Christ for He loves us more than we could imagine.
Blessings
