“If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.”

Jesus spoke such a powerful truth in this passage.This is what Paul echoed to Timothy to rightly divide the word of truth.

Whether it’s a doctrine of man or a doctrine of God.

The doctrine of man involves man’s righteousness with good works, but the Doctrine of God involves living totally in the finished work of Christ.

The doctrine of man is performance based to keep the law but the doctrine of God is having the faith of the Son of God.

This means we know what we have received from Christ. Therefore, we walk according to that knowledge.

Ignorance of what Christ has done for us will cause us to walk into the trap of the enemy and satan will wrap us up in condemnation to perform better.

We know the result of that, for we can never achieve righteousness with our own works.

Therefore, this is what Jesus is saying to know God and to love Him with all our hearts, minds and strength.

For Christ has given it all to us as gifts so that we will walk in it and manifest signs and wonders in and through our lives.

When we start doing things out of His power, love and grace, we will be doing according to the doctrine of God.

Let us be alert in the things Christ has done, keep seeing it, keep speaking it and keep walking in it.
