“But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.”

Paul would be saying the same thing to us today, to flee from things that will distance us from God and from the things He has done for us.

Whatever ideology that does not align with what Jesus has done for us needs to be changed, corrected, and not put into action in our life.

To pursue righteousness is to bring ourselves to the right standing with God, to look at self as how Christ has made us to be. This is something we need to believe in and do.

For God has granted us the power, and God has granted us the wisdom and the knowledge in Jesus.

It is up to us to believe it and walk in it because the Holy Spirit had revealed and shown us Jesus and all that He has done. We just need to step out in faith and do it.

It is we who need to pursue living the righteousness of God, to live godly, to walk by faith, to live in His love, and to manifest His patience and gentleness.

If we pray and ask God to do it, we are denying what Jesus has done for us.

We need to be thanking God for giving us the ability and power over all of our circumstances.

Living life in this way will only bring confidence, assurance, and boldness to walk in what God has already done.

Let us keep casting down our own imagination and thoughts that exalt themselves against the perfect work of Christ.

Let us believe that in Christ we all are complete.
