For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

Paul is speaking about the doors that have been opened to him and what accompanied the amazing doors are adversaries.

The enemy would do everything possible to close any door for the expansion of the kingdom of God. The enemy is going to put up a fight trying to intimidate us.

Paul is aware of this and knows no intimidation is going to shake him nor change his mission.

Paul continues his plans despite all the challenges that come his way.

Whenever there is an open door, the enemy will work his way trying to get in. This is where we as His church need to be vigilant on the things of God and stay focused.

The way we stay focused is by continuing on the mission we have received from the Lord.

We must not stop if there is lack, a breakdown or any other forms of hindrances. We have to believe that the God who called us is faithful and He will do it.

There are many who want to work for God and be His voice yet there are others who will stand to speak for their own interest.

What are we going to do when doors and adversaries come in hand in hand? We need to discard the adversaries and focus on finishing our assignment.

The enemy wants us to pay attention to the adversaries he is sending so that he can get a hold of our mind and inject fear and doubt.

We need to keep our eyes on God and His promises so that we can build faith and confidence in God.

Let us be ready to discard every adversary that comes our way and focus on Christ and His plans for our lives.
