Hebrews 10:1 NKJV
“For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.”
Hebrews 10:1 NKJV
Everything according to the law is a shadow of good things to come. The law projects the vision of the good but it will never get us there.
By observing the law will only give a glimpse of hope that can never be attained.
By observing, believing and receiving what Jesus has done will give us the substance of hope to become an heir of God’s kingdom.
The law causes people to approach the presence of God with a guilty conscience but Jesus made us righteous and caused us to come boldly, perfect before God.
Observing the law will paint the image of a sinner, victim, under bondage, sick and full of fear.
But in Christ Jesus who established us in the new covenant paints the picture of God, royalty, authority, victor, an heir of the kingdom, living in divine health and full of faith.
This is the inheritance of the saints. When we choose to meditate on what Christ has done, then all things will begin to change.
We need to keep changing our thoughts from the law to Jesus. From rituals to relationships and from fear to faith in Christ Jesus.
The blessings will start to flow when we get in alignment with Christ and start to see everything in the light of Christ’s finished work.
Let us set our eyes on Jesus, look at everything through what He has done and speak to those things to be conformed to God’s word.
Blessings
