Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

‭‭“Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees,”

This verse comes as a conclusion after being taught about receiving corrections from the Lord.

Many miss the point of corrections and become discouraged, broken, and condemned. Corrections were meant to strengthen, edify, and put us back on the right course.

Condemnation and feelings of rejection come in when one refuses to change to God’s instructions and to His purpose.

The writer says to those who have been corrected to wake up from deceit and know that the Lord wants His best for His children.

Pride, old habits, and religious spirit will cause us to reject corrections. It causes us to stay within our comfort zone.

Faith is about trusting Christ and changing our minds from living as a natural man to a spirit-filled man.

True humility is a heart that receives corrections to conform to His image and likeness.

We as believers need to rise up and heed the corrections that our loving Father brings.

Every correction that God gives is only meant to bring us to our true identity to become fruitful.

Let us receive corrections from the Lord and be changed from glory to glory.
