Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

David sings and declares the goodness of God in his life. He has seen in his own life that God’s word is true and God has always delivered him as promised.

David experienced the protection of God by trusting in what God has said. He escaped king Saul's rage and motive to kill him.

By believing God’s promises, David is able to write songs and write testimonies of God’s goodness.

David knew that there is nothing else but God who is the source of his strength, courage, wealth, health, and his abundance.

The key to living, seeing, and manifesting God’s promises is by believing them.

To believe God’s word does not end by saying amen to a prayer but it continues by following God, speaking the same language as God has spoken, and guiding our steps to walk in His way.

The word of God will light up our path.

It shows us the way and the steps to take.

But to believe is to start taking action and to take that first step and keep walking in it.

Many believers know the word of God, they pray it but do not take the step to follow it through.

The miracle is in the doing of God’s word, living and practicing God’s word.

David experienced such protection, such grace, and such power because that’s all David relied on as his guide and his hope, God’s word is his life.

Yes, David wasn’t perfect but he followed the perfect God. David was a man after God’s own heart.

He did not get sidetracked by his sins but was attracted by God’s grace, love, and mercy.

David knew that God’s love is more powerful than the shortcoming of his life. He kept pressing on to God and he kept holding on to God no matter how ugly the situation looked like.

Let us also trust God and His word like David did. Let us also write songs of deliverance and testimonies of God’s goodness in our own lives.

Blessings
