Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭38‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭38‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The word of God says in Isaiah “behold I am doing a new thing."

God has prepared for us new things according to His riches and His glory for 2023.

All new things cannot be carried or sustained by an old mentality, old character, and careless lifestyle.

Just like Jesus said in this passage that new wine must be put into new wineskins.

To carry, sustain and grow in the new life that God has given us, we need a constant adjustment of our minds and hearts to yield to what God is revealing.

New things cannot materialize if we put on old habits and lifestyle that do not support the new things God is doing.

We cannot expect change if we keep the old habits and mindset.

Change begins when we start to do what God has said and constantly adjust ourselves to be in line with what God is doing.

We cannot waste the goodness of God and His promises with our old mentality and habits.

We must value and cherish God and every promise that He has given, changing our hearts and minds accordingly.

By doing them all, new things will begin to take shape in and through our lives.

By yielding ourselves to God and the new things He has in store for us, we will experience a new life.

Let us be intentional in changing our minds with God’s truth and display them daily throughout our life.
