“No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.”

Every one of us is so important in the kingdom of God. No matter how we feel, no matter what people say and no matter how bad the situation may look like in our life, we are still a light in this world.

A light shines in the dark causing us to see what we can’t and give directions through the night.

This speaks about each one of us in the Lord. We are that light that always shines and causes people to see and gives direction to The Way, Jesus Christ.

Each light is meant to light up for a reason, for themselves, their family, and their community.

It was never meant to be hidden or put away from shining. Even in the darkest hours of our lives, we have the potential to shine the brightest.

We are made by God to be that light and to be in the places that can be seen by others so that all may see the Way, the Truth, and the Life that Jesus brings to all.

Never underestimate what each light can do, and never look down on or be lied to about who we are. But believe that we received this gift to be the light from God.

We must not let the things of this world, people, or lifestyle of today distract us from being the true light in Christ to the world.

In order for the world to be a better place, God’s people need to shine their light on Christ Jesus so that all may see through the Creator’s eyes and heal through the Creator’s hand.

In the light of Christ, all will be able to see the purposes of God in everything they do.

Let us not shy away from shining the true light of Jesus.

Let us step out in faith and be Jesus to the world.
