Jeremiah‬ ‭15‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.”

In the midst of evil and a perverse generation, Jeremiah found the word of the Lord as food to his soul and enlightenment to his life.

Jeremiah described the word of God as a treasure that he can behold, eat to strengthen, and a light to his path.

To those who see and consider God’s word as a real treasure, real food, and a real light that lights up their path, they will enjoy God’s power and glory.

When we receive a revelation from God, we are to treasure them, activate our life according to them, and enjoy them.

God’s word is not to be stored on the shelves of our minds and hearts but it is to transform our minds and heart to become the word itself.

Jesus was the word that was made flesh.

His word becomes one in our life and part of our character, our speech, and our lifestyle.

We need to delight ourselves in the word of God and continue to apply it to construct our thinking according to the new image in Christ Jesus.

All this is possible because we have been called, blessed, appointed, anointed, and sent as His disciples into this world.

Let us delight ourselves in His word and let every part of us be transformed to reflect Jesus in this world.
