Exodus 17:14 NKJV
“Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”
Exodus 17:14 NKJV
After defeating the Amalek, God wanted Moses to write down this victory in the book to be rehearsed.
God wanted Joshua and all who believe in God Almighty to remember the victory they have in Him.
When God told Joshua to meditate upon the law day and night in Joshua 1:8, this is part of what Joshua was meditating.
Joshua meditated on the victory., the authority, and the possessions that God gave to them as they obeyed and did what God had told them to do.
The reason Joshua and Caleb can see the promised land is that Joshua was rehearsing God’s victory over the enemy when the others saw their enemy as stronger than them.
Whatever we allow our mind and heart to rehearse, those things will be at the tip of our lips, mind, and heart.
Whatever we rehearsed will shape our responses every day. We cannot expect to live victorious if we keep rehearsing defeat, failure, and lack.
We are not going to have the strength to fight the good fight of faith if we are always rehearsing the things we don’t have.
God wants us to rehearse everything that He has given to us. For God HAS blessed us with every spiritual blessing.
There is nothing that we need that God has not given. We got it all in Him.
When we start to rehearse what God has given then we will stand victorious and conquer all the giants that come our way.
It is so important that we keep God’s promises at the tip of our minds, hearts, and lips so that we can cut things that need to be cut off, plant the promises of God, and establish what God has purposed in our lives.
Let us rehearse all that we have received through Christ our Lord and display His glory to the world.
Blessings
