For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.

Jesus prayed to the Father saying that He HAS given to us the very word that the Father has given Him.

The words Christ is talking about is the truth.

We RECEIVED THEM by BELIEVING THAT JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY, THE ONLY TRUTH AND THE LIFE.

In this prayer, we can see how Christ has positioned us. This is what Peter was saying in his letters that God HAS GIVEN us all things pertaining to life and godliness.

As believers in Christ, we don't function behind the veil; we don't live under the shadow of things but we live in the reality of Christ's resurrection power.

We serve out of God's most holy place.

We don't go into His Holy place because God has made us His holy place for Him to dwell. We live in His holiness 24/7.

We don't pray as one who doesn't have, but we pray as one who has received everything from Christ and lives life boldly for His kingdom.

This is how Christ has presented us to the Father. Therefore we think, speak and believe according to how Christ has presented us.

Let us keep aligning ourselves to what Christ HAS DONE and live a power-filled life in Christ Jesus.
