II Corinthians 4:3 NKJV
“But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,”
II Corinthians 4:3 NKJV
The apostle Paul preached and taught the Corinthian church the importance of believing in Jesus.
Some who have mixed faith with religion have caused them to function under the veil.
Paul talked about another gospel that the false teachers were teaching. They mixed Jesus with the works of the law.
These are the people whom Jesus spoke about that they will come and say they did this and that in His Name and Jesus said I do not know you.
This is because they mixed faith and the works of the law together.
The workers of God are those who trust completely in Jesus and nothing else.
The workers of iniquity are those who believe that Jesus is the Christ but also believe that they have to keep the law to be saved.
These are the lukewarm churches that try to be safe and mix justification by faith and justification by works.
The veil remains to those who will put their trust in the law but the veil is lifted when we believe in Christ alone.
The gospel only becomes a veil because they still trust in their work and performance to be justified.
Therefore, we must come to the conclusion that the only way, the only truth and life, is Jesus Christ, Son of the living God.
We must not get ourselves entangled by the works of the law and its system.
Let us live in Christ through His Grace, work out everything that Jesus has done for us and proclaim He is Lord.
