“The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.

For all that has been said and done from all the law and the prophets until John the Baptist is a preparatory work for the coming of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.

What seems to be impossible to live according to the law and the prophets now has been made possible through Christ Jesus our Lord.

What was once something people dread about now can be turned into a joy to live in. For the heavenly blessings that we cannot attain by our works, it is now given to us to enjoy by Jesus Christ.

The world is full of people who want a life like this desperately. Those are the people we need to reach out first.

We must not be put off reaching out with the gospel just because someone refuses it. While we pray for them let us keep sharing, for many more are desperate for a saviour for their lives.

Jesus said that everyone is pressing into His kingdom at the preaching of the kingdom of God.

If there is no preaching of the kingdom of God, there is no entering God's kingdom.

The moment the gospel is preached there is the power to unveil their eyes and hearts to see the need for a Saviour in their lives.

We are God's messenger, His hands and feet here on earth to spread the gospel and display His glory to the world.

Let us be bold to display the gospel, bold to share Christ to all that would give ear to hear this awesome good news.
